Craftsmanship at Tsubame Bussan

At Tsubame Bussan, our cutlery is shaped not only by machines,
but by the skilled hands of our craftspeople—
details that no automation can fully replace.

Each piece is finished with attention beyond technical precision:
balance in the hand, comfort at the mouth,
and the way light reflects across the surface.

Today, nearly one-third of our team is in their twenties.
Veteran craftspeople work side by side with younger makers,
passing down techniques through hands-on, one-on-one training—
from how to hold each tool to how to read the marks left by polishing.

Our flatware is used in hotels, restaurants, and media dining scenes across Japan.
Whenever we see one of our pieces at the table,
we are reminded that something made by hand has quietly become part of a special meal.

As Japan’s first dedicated metal flatware manufacturer,
the quality and trust we have built continue to grow—
